LinkThe Rich Fool

What is it that makes a person truly wealthy? Is it houses, cars, or a fat bank account? The problem with such wealth is that it can be taken away. Last fall we had the privilege of ministering in New Orleans to victims of Hurricane Katrina. Many of them lost everything materially, but they found strength in their relationships with one another and with God. At the end of the day the true measure of wealth is not in what we have but in whom we know. http://calvarytv.org/mp3/daybreak_min/the_rich_fool.mp3

Daniel said...
It is still fresh in my mind. I find myself thinking on it often. Every time a photograph or news story comes on that shows the distruction in the Golf Coast my heart crys out to God. The activitys that go on in the French Quarter are so sad,Gays marching, prostitutes, bars and Voodo shops all open. We saw how they live without Jesus. O God, that the Church would be alive and bring down the power of satan over this area. They lost everything, even their souls. Thank you LORD for those who lost everything but put their trust in you. Their tresure is not of this earth but in heaven with You.
