Life Group

Life Groups are designed to provide an environment of mutual Christian Love, Discipleship, Spiritual Encouragement, Out Reach to the Community. Therefore, we gladly agree together to participate in a healthy, Christlike manner. These are Bible study based groups that meet md-week in people’s homes throughout the Treasure Valley.

 Men's Ministry

Our Men's Ministry is all about Men of God having an IMPACT in our families, home, church & community.  We do this by following the model given to us in scripture – Jesus Christ.   We are about practicing daily what Paul told Timothy in I Timothy 6:11-12.  We want to be men who pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience & goodness.  Christian men today carry more responsibilities than ever before. For many, managing the demands of marriage, family, career, and church responsibilities can be a daily challenge. There is a need for men to be the leaders God has called us to be within our families, church and in the community.  As believers in Christ, we need to equip the men of our body and the future generation to lead from the front as Christ would desire us to do.

We do this through weekly studies of God's Word, prayer, accountability, fellowship & worship.
While the pressures of life mount daily, it is possible to live a balanced, abundant Spirit-filled life in today’s fast paced world. The key lies in proper priorities and making a commitment to do the things our Lord would have us to do.

As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. – Proverbs 27:14

 Women's Ministry

Our women’s ministry exists for the purpose of loving, encouraging, and equipping women through the study of God’s Word, worship, prayer, and fellowship. We believe that healthy women are better able to serve God, their families, their neighbors, and coworkers, producing much spiritual fruit. We seek to be knit together as one beautiful tapestry for the glory of God!

 Senior Adult Outreach

Job 12:12 NKJV Wisdom is with aged men, and with length of days, understanding. This verse reveals how seniors are of great worth, and how they are such a valuable resource to younger generations. In return, we need to be available to serve these precious saints in any areas where they need our assistance.

What we do: We offer a number of different ways for seniors to stay connected and receive encouragement: phone conversations, home visitation, sharing what’s on your heart, praying with you, sharing communion, Bible studies, and short devotionals. Perhaps there is an errand we can run for you, such as picking up medications or groceries? We can even assist with some small financial needs. Like Jesus, we are here to serve you and encourage you in your walk with Him. Let us know how we can do that for you! To get involved, please contact our Senior Ministry Lead by email Karl Davis or phone 307-620-2322.

Wednesday Morning Prayer Meeting—6:00 am

This is our weekly prayer meeting that has continued for over ten years. We begin with a Scripture reading and complete the hour with prayer. We pray for everything—our church, families, neighbors, city, state, nation, and world. Our only guide is the Spirit and the Word. And the coffee is always hot!

 The Encounter—Second Saturday, 7:00 pm

As I ate lunch with other regional Calvary Chapel pastors, the subject came up of what caused each of us to follow Christ and eventually go into ministry. We could all point to a personal encounter we had with Jesus Christ. At some point He became very real to us. We knew that He loved us, and He convinced us that He has a plan for us. He reordered our priorities, and our lives have never been the same.

As we discussed these things, an idea began to form in my mind. Could we create such an opportunity for people to encounter God? We read in Acts 13 that as the church ministered to the Lord in prayer and fasting that the Holy Spirit spoke to them (presumably through the gift of prophecy) saying, “Set apart to me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” This began world missions.

Therefore, we have set aside time once a month to encounter God. We want to hear Him speak to our hearts. We want to rely upon Him to do the work of the ministry. We also want to give believers the opportunity to practice the gifts of the Spirit. Come join us! Our prayer is that you will encounter Jesus!

Property Prayer Meeting—First Saturday, 10:00 am

We purchased about 15 acres of land in 2003. We are now in the process of developing it for a small residential community and church. We want the Lord to be our Architect, Builder and Provider. We meet monthly to update our prayer team and pray for God’s wisdom, guidance and provision. Our theme verse is Zechariah 4:6-7:

So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’

United Prayer—The 7th of Each Month

It has been said that prayer moves the hand which moves the world. If that is true for the individual and corporate church body, then how much more is it true when multiple congregations unite in prayer. This is the vision of United Prayer, an initiative to unite many congregations in the Treasure Valley to pray the same thing. Each church seeks to cover one day of the month with 24-hour prayer. We pray over ten spheres of society, as well as urgent needs that impact our community. Our goal is to move God’s hand to transform our communities according to His will. Sign up online for an hour on the next 7th of the month.
