What do we do at The Living Room?

We wait for the empowering of the Holy Spirit, so that we might have the power necessary to impact the world around us. We ?like to keep things real!? We fellowship, pray, worship, and study the word of God. These are the things that are real; these are things that are eternal, things that won't pass away.

What is the purpose of all this?

The purpose of this youth ministry is to equip young people with the word of God so that they might reach a lost and hopeless world. There is an emphasis on putting the things that we learn at the Living Room into practice. Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14, to ?enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.? Many young people today are on this path that leads to destruction, we want to show them the narrow path, and then encourage them to show others how to find this narrow path.

Join us on Wednesday evenings as we met from 6:30-8:30 to worship God and study His word together. We are currently going through the Gospel of Matthew, as we focus on Jesus the King.
