Far Reaching Ministries

Far Reaching Ministries (FRM), founded in 1998, is an evangelical Christian missionary and humanitarian organization. They began working with South Sudanese refugee camps, offering love and hope to orphans who lost their families through genocide, famine, and disease.

That same year, Pastor Wes Bentley trekked into the Sudan bush with a Captain in the South People’s Liberation Army (SPLA). Over a hundred and fifty soldiers responded to an invitation to receive Jesus Christ, and the vision for a chaplaincy program was born.

Chaplains are taught verse-by-verse through the entire Bible. Upon graduation, they are deployed to a front-line battle unit, as well as non-combat units in the Nuba Mountains region. The Nuba Mountains have been a hotspot of violence for decades and are known for some of the most severe fighting in Sudan. CCTV supports one of these chaplains.

FRM now serves in eleven countries with a multitude of programs and ministries. These include Bible schools, church planting, pastoral training, orphanages, farming training, humanitarian relief, and human trafficking prevention.

Firm Foundations Romania

Firm Foundations Romania believes that all people are made in the image of God and are therefore worthy of love, respect and dignity. They are committed to caring for and supporting the Roma community in Romania by offering access to education, tangible resources, and the Gospel. They also provide aid in a practical way to the children of the Brasov Children's Hospital.

They are currently raising funds for the After School Agape Center in Budila and have reached over 50% of their goal. They are hoping to complete construction in 2022. Please pray that they will be able to continue to meet in their current building until their new facility is built.

In Calvary’s Care

In Calvary’s Care seeks to minister Christ’s love to children in the Dominican Republic in a tangible and relational way. Each month, the families of sponsored children come to the ministry house by appointment. The staff talks with them about what’s happening in their family, prays for them, shares the Word, and then gives the family $20 worth of supplies (rice, beans, cooking oil, powdered milk, sugar, and cookies) for each sponsored child. The staff reports back to the sponsor to know the status of their sponsored child and family. Calvary Chapel is funding the facility, staff salaries, and all operating expenses from their missions’ budget—not from the money collected from sponsors.

Our Sunday School gives $20 a month to sponsor a boy. We also encourage the kids to write letters and send photos to him.
