The Generations of Adam

Enoch was the seventh from Adam (Jude 14). He walked with God, and then he was no more, for the LORD took him. Enoch lived prior to the Flood. (The year his son Methuselah died, the Flood came.) At this time the wickedness of man was great, and every intention of the thoughts of his heart was continuously evil. Enoch is a type (picture) of the Church, for God took him up to heaven before the judgment came. Likewise, the Lord will take up His Church before the Great Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 3:10).

How do you think Enoch walked with God during this time of intense spiritual darkness? How can we walk with God today despite the increasing wickedness we see?
