Last Three Days of Creation
David wrote:
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” (Psalm 8:3–4, NKJV)
Have you ever considered how insignificant we are compared to the vast universe? And yet God has fine-tuned the universe for our benefit. If He hadn't, then Spaceship Earth could have never supported life.
David also wrote:
“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” (Psalm 139:13–14, NKJV)
As David considered both the outer and inner creation, he found reason to glorify God. What most impresses you about God's creation? Spend time today thanking Him for His marvelous works.
