Psalm 148-150
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6, NKJV)
Last night all of us were invited to the home of Pastor John Keri. He is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Canaan, the church that has been hosting the pastors’ conference. After enjoying a tasty African meal, we sat in a circle and sang worship songs. One of our pastors (from Salem, Oregon) is also a worship leader, so he led us in some songs. Then the local worship leaders also led us. What a wonderful and joyous time we had celebrating the goodness of God. I love multinational worship because I believe that heaven will be like this with every nation gathered around the throne and exalting Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father!
God has given us every breath. I can think of no greater use of our breath than to declare God’s praises! Often I put on my worship playlist while driving and praise the Lord for His faithfulness to everyone and His goodness to me. Try this yourself. Put on a Christian radio station or your favorite YouTube worship song and join in. God is enthroned in our praises, and you will be blessed!
